QUALIFIER / HACK THE FIRST AGI 1.0
The 48-hour gate.
Two clocks. One body of evidence. Your team’s execution window starts when the qualifier email is issued.
Application → ≤24h review → 24h qualifier → submission
Within a maximum of 24 hours of application, the team leader receives either the qualifier/problem statement with a private submission link or a progression decision if the team is not being advanced. The normal maximum application-to-qualifier-submission process is approximately 48 hours.
01 / THE CLOCK
The qualifier deadline is exactly 24 hours after email issuance unless organizers explicitly communicate otherwise. Your private submission page shows the issued time, deadline and a countdown based on the server time. Check your inbox and spam folder, and whitelist the organizer email.
02 / TECHNICAL DECK
Submit an accessible PDF, Google Drive, Canva or equivalent presentation URL. Recommended: 10–12 main slides. Suggested structure: team/thesis, problem interpretation, evaluation hypothesis, methodology, architecture, experiments, results, failure cases, limitations and key finding. Appendices are allowed if the challenge permits.
03 / EXPLANATION VIDEO
Submit a 2–3 minute video through unlisted YouTube, Loom, Google Drive or an equivalent accessible URL. Explain what you tested, how you tested it, what happened and what you discovered.
04 / TECHNICAL ARTIFACT
Provide a GitHub repository where applicable and an optional documentation/demo URL. Include dependencies, execution instructions, data provenance and enough evidence to reproduce your conclusions. Use the notes field to disclose external tools, APIs and models as required by the challenge.
05 / DECLARATION
Confirm that the work represents your team’s contribution, required tools/APIs/models have been disclosed, and results or evidence have not been intentionally fabricated. Keep challenge-specific material confidential.
06 / SUBMISSION & REVIEW
The first accepted submission is locked. No further edits are guaranteed. Late submissions are not silently discarded: they are recorded with the exact server timestamp and marked LATE_SUBMISSION. High-performing teams may progress to the Frontier Trial and confidential technical review.
